Actor and director Jonathan Scott Frakes is best known for his portrayal of Commander William T. Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He additionally appeared as Riker on episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and in four Star Trek films. He just reprised the role, yet again on Star Trek: Picard.

Jonathan has directed episodes of Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager, along with the two Star Trek films, Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection. Recently he directed on Star Trek: Discovery and is set to direct at least two episodes of Star Trek: Picard.

It seems that his introduction to directing on Next Generation has served him well. He’s directed many TV shows and movies including: Roswell (where he also executive produced and acted in), Clock Stoppers, The Twilight Zone, Thunderbirds, The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines, Masters of Science Fiction, The Librarian III: The Curse of the Judas Chalice, Dollhouse, V, Persons Unknown, The Good Guys, Leverage, Castle, The Glades, Burn Notice, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Falling Skies, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Librarians, The Orville and many others.

We are very happy that this extremely busy Actor/Director/Producer is coming back to StarFest. It’s been way too long since he’s been here with us. Mr. Frakes will be at StarFest both Saturday and Sunday.
